Of the 46 homes that have sold and closed in Thornwood thus far in 2010 ten of these, or 21.7% have been distressed sales with some bank involvement--either a short sale or a foreclosure. Compare that to Kane county during the same time period when 2965 homes have closed and 1309, or 44.1%, of these were bank involved sales.
So overall, Thornwood has a lower percentage of distressed home sales than Kane County.
